Firman provides children with a learning environment that includes various experiences to assist them in developing socially, intellectually, physically, and emotionally.

To enroll children in Child Care  and/or Preschool for All,
parents must be
Employed full time; or
Attending school; or
Enrolled in a training program.
According to federal guidelines, fees are based on family size and income.
 
Program Components
Firman’s Early Childhood Learning Center West is exploding with wonderful programs that provide children with an equal opportunity to succeed. Our programs includes, but are not limited to:
• Creative Learning Curriculum (fun ways to learn reading, writing, numbers, music, and art);
• Nutrition (breakfast, lunch, and a healthy snack);
• Parental Involvement (parent meetings, workshops, and field trips);
• Social Services (referral and emergency services);
• Foreign Language (Spanish, and Mandarin); and
• Computer Literacy.
 
Firman Community Services’ Early Childhood Learning Center West is supported by the Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Department of Children and Youth Services, and the Illinois State Board of Education.
